A display of the Seven Levels that a "Seeker" has to attain in order to become ONE with the "Beloved", as Attar has masterfully described it in his beautifully crafted verses (12th/13th Century A.D.). Although the 7 levels in Farsi is referred to as Haft Shahr Eshgh (7 Towns of Love) or Haft Vaadi Eshgh (7 Valleys of Love) in its figurative form, the reference is an allegory to 7 levels of transformation, each with its own identity and characters that a seeker has to accomplish to unify with the beloved.
A verse from the Spiritual Master and Poet Moulana (Rumi) is included referencing Attar’s 7 levels of love. It shows Moulana's admiration as he credits Attar with becoming "one" with the beloved and pokes fun at himself as being lost in the turns and twists of the simplest passage among many passages of the first level. A humbleness and selflessness that is abundant among those who are gifted with spiritual prowess such as Moulana.
Attar had met Moulana and his father when Moulana was a child. He was so impressed with him that he gave him a copy of his book, AsrarNameh (the Book of Secrets).
